As such, other companies hire Asgardia to do space based maintenance, and construction - as we are already there... and they save on not having to train people up to do just one or two jobs in space... To do a job, Asgardia has a mobile space based workshop and manufacturing platform it can take to the sites where the work has to be done. During one such job, there was an unexpected increase in radiation and everyone just dropped what they were doing and go into safety shelters. The game starts with you as the "tool-boy", having to retrieve the tools left out in space, using a maneuvering vehicle that encloses you like a spacesuite, before a known solar event takes place ... Your name is Sam ( so it fits either boys or girls) , and there is a time limit, as well as oxygen limits, etc... This game is short, but tests your skills in maneuvering in space and 3d orientation ... the more you play, the better you become..

The Asgardia Game Project which my son (https://asgardia.space/social/users/1221411) is using to learn game programming, is nearing completion. It is with sadness that I have to report that my mother in law, Amor van Heerden ( Resident https://asgardia.space/social/users/1222959 ) has passed away on 12 Taurus 0005 ( 06/04/2021 ) She will be missed by her husband Louis van Heerden (Resident https://asgardia.space/en/social/users/1222957) and her children Corna Olivier ( Member of Parliament https://asgardia.space/social/users/1221346 ) and Ria Dell (Member of Parliament https://asgardia.space/en/social/users/958283) and Braam van Heerden (Non Asgardian) The poem is written by her on occasion of the passing of her sister a while back and so appropriate for someone that is the most open minded person I have ever known.

Currently we do not have sovereign terrestrial territory and I believe we never will. That leaves us with "digital territory", and there the sky is the limit. The Montevideo Convention on the Rights and Duties of States supports the declarative theory of statehood ( and nationhood) in that we are a nation because we say so and do not need the acceptance of others to be such. I am attending the US Space Force and Air Force Legal Conference, and one of the subjects that came up: When a city is created on another orbiting body, moon or mars - and permanent habitation is achieved, does that make them a state in their own right, as no earth state can claim sovereignty in space? This idea and thinking was offered by a law professor of the university of Nebraska, and the idea is also used in a lot of his exams for legal and military students. Think of the future that holds and how that works or can work to the advantage of Asgardia as a nation without any earth territory where we are not bound by the Outer Space Treaty on current earth nations.

Very Interesting Conference. Lots of issues Asgardia has to take into account to navigate the International Tax Landscape. There seems to be a general agreement that unilateral Digital Services tax in Countries are not a desirable tax and should be abolished world wide. This of cause makes for "interesting" debates for countries that feel they are not fairly compensated.

My 16 year old son, who have been an Asgardian for the last 3 years, is busy developing a small game for Asgardia - the First Asgardian Game, Developed for Asgardians, by Asgardians. Herewith a small demo of the game - full physics engine - no textures yet, but you can see the progress of the game - hopefully the first of many small games to engage Asgardians on the road to a fully multi player, persistent universe game. He is teaching himself to develop 3d Games. He has a dream to be a resident, and to contribute - and we identified game development as a worthwhile pursuit.
