Not a space tug.  Asteroids are electrical in nature. So they would have a +or- polarity the plasma currents that help generate our magnetic field could be manipulated with an electrical charge to repel any incoming asteroid. Just a thought though.   And space is already weaponized.   But not for asteroids

Something that would repel incoming objects and perhaps weapons? I agree that space should not be weaponized, but part of our mandate is to protect the Earth. So if we could repel or somehow move asteroids...with a space tug perhaps.  That would be good.  Blasting things would cause fragmentation, which could be bad for a space station.  Thank you for your post!
