Um, with companies such as Bigelow aerospace building habitable enviroments I believe with the right funding and science we could build a space port with room for a hundred workers and they could build large bays where we could construct the first ships to traverse our solar system in the 2020s that is if we get the scratch to do so.. we could rent out the ships we build or just use them to lay claim on on the solar system and pretty much own space...
