How are we changing the world? Have we been able to make a difference? How is this community relevant to me? It feels good to be a part of something grand, some utopian vision of a combined future for all mankind - that looks beyond nations, race, creed as combined humanity. But do we see it materializing around us? If anything, I'd say we've all become more closed off, more nationalistic, more individualistic politically and spiritually. I remember when I first found this site and had high hopes for the future. Saw an unread mail from Asgardia after years and reminisced the past where everything seemed possible. At present, it all seems much further to grasp than it felt a decade ago.
