Greetings, I am seeking your nomination for Deputy Secretary of Security. As a futurist and scientist I see the value of the Asgardian mission. As a military member I see that a nation with lofty ideals and technology will need protection and security in order to be sustainable. Due to the inevitability of conflict I will spearhead the development of a security force for the station. I will also supervise the forces training and implementation. We are a peaceful society by our own admission however others are not.  So as a purely defensive measure we must make this a reality. With your nomination I shall, as a great captain once said, “make it so.”
