So, after a little over 20 years in the Private Security industry, I'm back in college, taking classes on Math and Electronics. I studied these topics in High School, and a little when I first tried college right out of HS, but life had other plans, so here I am, knocking the rust off the old brain cells, and getting back into the swing of things. Even though I helped take my school to the state championship Academic Decathlon, back in the 90's, too many of my areas of study have gone unused, and so I now am starting with two courses to get the old skills back into use. Today, I received word from one of our Parliamentarians, that we do not have recognition or embassies. I had wondered, I had hoped, but this is a process, and I understand some of the possible delays. This information was brought to me because I had posted a query here in our social page, asking about this. With the information I have now, I decided it was better to remove the post, so others who may accidentally miss the answer given, do not see my speculative misinformation, and incorporate it into their questions. I wish to thank AMP Benjamin Dell for correcting my earlier post, and I hope my fellow Asgardians do not use my mistaken misinformation - that we were recognized by the EU, because we are in fact NOT recognized by the EU - in forming their thoughts or opinions. Please form them with the facts, we are NOT yet officially recognized by other nations.

Recently, I fried an SD Card reader, trying to program some devices I'm using for an Asgardia project. Card reader replaced, SD Cards programmed. Money has been a tremendous delay for everything I've been working on. But, step by step, I'm getting it done!

As taking care of my niece is currently one of my many new responsibilities, I'd like to see about getting her interested in, and involved with, some of the Asgardia communities. Do we have any communities, suitable for children 7 years and up, that provides educational videos and reading material for space and engineering projects?

Due to Covid-19 shelter recommendations, my lady and I have not only taken in my brother, but now my niece as well. Because of his seizures, my brother is unable to contribute to living expenses, and my lady and I are now dealing with double the person-level living expenses. My work on the micro-servers is delayed, pending another improvement of income. I already work 2 jobs, may have to pick up weekend shifts somewhere, also. If anyone wants to donate 5 or 6 Raspberry Pi 4b, 4gb boards, feel free to let me know!

Here at my home, it is still only 5 Ophiuchus, or 11 October. That said, in the time zones along the Asian Pacific coast and similar islands, it's now early morning 6 Ophiuchus, or 12 October. With this in mind, I wish my fellow Asgardians and our supporters a Happy Founder's Day!

I've been so busy dealing with my local life (emergency shelter volunteer staff, work having unusually long shifts, etc.) I completely missed the fact that we have several new members!
