Most people here on Earth don't understand Identity Theory, Equity Theory or Realistic Conflict Theory, or how these respectively and collectively relate to Intergroup Relations. It is of the upmost importance that we, as a new, multiethnic, multicultural and transnational space nation, apply these theories in such a way that we avoid the shortcomings of our earthly counterparts.
