To cut down on duplicate questions and to also streamline the use of the forum for research I would like to propose that a search bar is implemented so that the users and citizens of Asgardia can find information relevant to their needs.

May I ask as to what the default picture size for our profile is? All the pictures I seem to use get resized and thus the resolution drops, does anybody know?

No special trick with uploading, double check that your picture is under 2 mb in size.

I understand the inherit problems of integrating a multi-language search bar, perhaps a simple fix is a search bar that uses google instead and displays the results inside a Iframe?

This is actually a really asked for feature, and unfortunately a problematic one.
Due to the multilingual nature of our group, any search feature would need to include the ability to handle different languages - unfortunately when this is implemented it seems to break a few things.
There are a couple of things that you can do to work around this:
1. Most of the forum has an RSS xml file that you can add to almost any reader and use the inbuilt feature in that software.
2. slightly more convenient is the ability to search via google.com . Entering "
site:asgardia.space/en/forum" allows you to search the Forum exclusively. Unfortunately neither of these options works with our Regional sub-forums.

I wholeheartedly concur. In addition, it would be nice to have direct messaging, but I recognize that may be a more involved effort.
