Id like to think as a space nation - colonization of space is going to be a priority objective. As our nation starts to grow and become large, we will be able to afford the ability to develop our own research and technologies. I believe, because our goal will eventually be the colonization of space; our current objective should be learning how we do this sustainably. We need to figure out how to live healthy, sustain ourselves, refine and manufacture, in the new world of empty 0 g space. Things like how to make "soil", how to forge metals, and how to treat illness and wounds in space. First things first we need a point and place to start. Thats my objective.
