I would like to introduce myself as the founding member of the first state of Asgardia: Kekistan. As of this very forum post, I am declaring the Kekistani National Party as Asgardia's first declared political party, with myself as its founding father. We declare official sovereignity over a state known as Kekistan, which is to be protected, as the Ethnic Kekistani identity has been repeatedly harmed throughout history.

I, and anyone else who chooses to stand with this cause, have decided to directly challenge recent leadership decisions; and to represent the interests of ethnic Kekistanis, who constitute well over 25% of the population of Asgardia according to internal surveys.

I have a number of comments and  questions  in response to what has been posted by you. They have been itemized, as this appears to be most convenient to you.

This is what was originally posted by Dr. De Winne to a (rather learned, might I add) citizen of Asgardia.

Thank you for raising your concerns.

I  greatly appreciate your dedication to Asgardia, its vision and  well-being.  I am sure that together we will build a great state which  will change the future of our world for the better. It is particularly  sensitive for me to write those words today as as big part of the team  is of Russian origin, and with the tragic events in Saint Petersburg  today, the idea of the better future for everyone is even closer to  everyone's heart.

There are several topics which are mixed in your address, they are not related to each other.

I will try to clarify them separately:

1)  My name is Lena De Winne. I am the CEO and Vice-President of NGO  Asgardia. I am the only person at this point who talks officially on  behalf of Dr. Ashurbeyli to media and public. I am a director at AIRC -  you can find it at airc.at

2)  As announced in the Decrees, feedback will be collected and taken into  account in updating the documents. I am surprised that this is  questioned.

3) Civic Asgardia acts under clear guidelines which  were established in public discussion and agreed upon last year. Rebekah  Berg is the Lead Admin reporting to me directly.

4) The web-site  asgardia.space is being further refurbished (what you see now is just a  minor fraction of the new design and structure), the web-site asgardia.com is being designed from scratch. It is planned that they become  available before end of May. They will contain a lot of information,  including the organigram of the NGO Asgardia.

5) Legal advisors to Asgardia are top professionals who are aware of the UN Charter.

In response, I must ask this, Dr. De Winne.

1) Since when does AIRC decide Asgardia's direction? I thought this was an egalitarian operation decided by direct democracy?

2)  You should not be "surprised" at being questioned at all, seeing as how  Asgardia has brought together masters of the STEM discipline.  Questioning is part of our jobs. Questioning is the basis of ethical and empirical research. Questioning causes answers to present themselves. If this will be an environment where "questioning" will not be permitted or encouraged, we will forcibly remove your leadership over Asgardia...fast! We have seen academics such as Dr. Jordan Peterson being censored in the name of masked totalitarian ideology, and I assure you that in the name of God and Kek, this will not happen in Asgardia.

3) Rebekah Berg was  "appointed" to her position on what was supposed  to be a temporary basis. Not one Asgardian cast one single vote for Rebekah Berg. She has assumed this position now for several  months and is unwilling to pass the bill on to somebody else. The  "meetings" (which really, should be national assemblies) are conducted only between site admins and AIRC staff without  any input from the public or indeed any representation at all. We have  no idea what is being said and done other than what is presented on  vague "agendas" providing even more vague project "timelines".

4) NGO Asgardia is an illegal non-government corporation , as it has not received any licensing whatsoever from Asgardia and has not been discussed with the community for approval. The Kekistani Party legally recognizes business entities conducting legal business in Asgardia and Kekistan proper by nature of their: a) being approved by at least one Asgardian citizen; b) presenting an official business plan or business concept for review on the Asgardian forum; c) having physical occupancy in Asgardia. Your business meets none of these criteria. Indeed, it is a foreign terrestrial entity and has no business in Asgardia or in Kekistan.

In a country, tasks are delegated to  the most appropriate person, rather than decided by a select number of  people. This is not a corporation  This is not a sub-divison of AIRC.  Things cannot operate in that manner with any degree of success. There  are many enthusiastic people who have left because their cool project or  idea was not given any platform at all. The direction must change quickly, or more people may leave.

I would like to also  bring attention ONCE AGAIN to the symbolism present in the Asgardia  symbol. The previous symbol contained "third eye" symbolism, which I  dismissed, believing that the Asgardia / Illuminati relationship was  absurd. However, your NEW symbol is very clearly Metatron's Cube. This  has links to Kaballah mysticism, which is explicitly the religion of the  Illuminati. I am astounded at the lack of transparency here. I did not  sign up for membership to a cult. Please, if Asgardia has connections to the Illuminati's planned breakaway civilization, at least present this plan for fair and valid criticism. Asgardians have a fundamental and natural right to have control over what the government can decide for them.

.Now, I will tell you the story of how Asgardia STOLE large portions of the index on the draft of MY Asgardian Constitution. I showed my draft of the constitution to members of the "Asgardian Gaming Group" here, who also operate on Discord. A member, "Allie", showed the draft to Rebekah Berg, and the administration decided to plagiarize large portions of my constitution.

This is SHAMEFUL behaviour on the part of the administration, and the Kekistani Party WILL stop this behaviour once and for all by presenting a full version of this constitution--- as originally written by Mr. Shawn Crawford of Canada --by the end of June. Furthermore, the Kekistani Party will cement itself with an official manifesto and party constitution. Asgardian citizens deserve privacy in their personal endeavours.

I am also sick and tired of Asgardia operating in secret. Many discussions take place on Facebook, rather than on these forums. The forums are secure : open to all citizens of all languages and all technical aptitudes. Facebook is a corporation that does not keep Asgardians' information safe. Indeed, in past weeks Facebook has been censoring people it disagrees with and has made many attempts to mislead them with constantly links to "fake news".

I appreciate Asgardia's mission and values. I appreciate the hard and tireless work that has been performed on the Asgardia project by those involved. I appreciate this amazing institutional enterprise in all of its loving and humanist potential. However, the current administration's time has come to now take a break and allow the democratic process to continue with elections for each of the minister positions. The Kekistani National Party will do what it takes to make this happen.

In conclusion Dr. De Winne and Dr. Ashurbeyli, this  is not how you manage a space nation. You should get some tips from your friends, the Draconians.

Civic.Asgardia, the Administrative arm of Asgardia: the Space Nation, announces its April, 2017 recruiting drive for volunteer staff members.

We are actively seeking help for the following roles. Brief overview of positions follows. Position descriptions, organizational structure and details about our training steps are linked below.

1. Social Media Specialists (Moderators)
2. National Chapter Advocates
3. National Chapter Assistant Advocates

The current recruiting period ends 15 April 2017.

All positions receive training. Volunteers are encouraged to work with us long-term for at least six-months. Scheduling is flexible to work around daily life. The daily time commitment varies by position, typically 1-2 hours/day for moderation duties and basic advocate work.

Each position needs people who possess fluency in both the English Language as well as local language fluency, who have experience using Facebook groups/pages and other discussion forums, and who can maintain a calm, professional, diplomatic manner when confronted with debate. Get ready to multitask and work well within a global team. Reliability and communication are needed.

Social Media Specialists (Moderators)

The need for balanced moderation continues. There are over 100 areas across several social media platforms which need to be monitored and supervised. Moderation staff does more than enforce rules. They are also content creators who start lively, creative discussions and help the group stay engaged. Training period includes a series of steps to develop proficiency with moderation skills, such as active engagement, application of our Code of Conduct, and regular observation of discussion threads. There will be an application process and an interview. This is a long-term volunteer position that will work closely with Civic.Asgardia and Asgardia’s Community Chapters. We hope to work with our staff for months to come.

National Chapter Advocates and Assistant Advocates

We work directly with our members through our Community Chapters. In the future, there will be member groups in many cities around the globe. For now, we begin with National Chapters in countries that have a significant population of Asgardians.

Each National Chapter is led by an Advocate who coordinates the staff and resources of that organization, serving as a single point-of-contact for an Asgardia Chapter. The Advocate works with the Assistant Advocates to create an active, engaging, and informative presence that connects local members with the global Asgardia community and which promotes the mission of NGO Asgardia.

All staff of National Chapters are expected to manage the social media presence for their group, helping to moderate Forums, Facebook pages, Twitter accounts and other media platforms. Asgardia orientation training and moderation training are provided.

Many National Chapters have yet to be formed, but these existing chapters need additional staff.

CODE OF CONDUCT

for Asgardia Online Resources

Purpose
The purpose of this Code of Conduct is to guarantee a welcoming, inclusive, barrier-free and safe environment to all Asgardians. The Code of Conduct is enforced by all administrators, moderators, and regional chapter advocates of Asgardia: the Space Nation. Our Code incorporates proven community standards, accepted internet guidelines, and some relevant laws combined into unified guidelines of behavior that acts as a terms-of-use agreement across social media platforms in the Asgardian online community.

Please note that our Code of Conduct supplements any Terms of Service or community rules that may be in place on any platform. They may not be used to justify the breach of any rules requested by the platform owner. Due to the ever-changing nature of social media NGO Asgardia and Civic.Asgardia reserve the right to update this Code of Conduct without prior notice.  A public notification will be place when these terms have been updated.

Definitions

“Resources” - Asgardia online resources include, but are not limited to:

• Official Forum
  Officially recognised Facebook groups and pages
  Official Twitter feeds
  Private messages and other communication channels that contain interaction related to Asgardia social media platforms
  Youtube or similar media services
  Other officially-endorsed social media outlets which may arise

“Asgardian” - For the purposes of this document an Asgardian is any person using our resources regardless of their registration at the Asgardia.space website.  This includes Official Staff, Volunteer Staff, Asgardia members or any Public users.

Hello all!

The team to start compiling the community suggestions for the Declaration of Unity has been gathered and are now working on pulling all of the great suggestions from the Asgardia community into one document. They will be gathering all suggestions made up until and including April 15, 2017 and compiling them in the below document.

Hello Asgardians! Rebekah here! We have another contest for our creative Asgardians out there! For our new contest, we ask that you submit a 1-5 minute film about Asgardia. Your film can either be a documentary or a fiction film. Documentary Films should include an element of philosophy, symbolism, the future of humanity, etc. Some suggestions for documentaries include interviews with people who have original ideas on Asgardia, chronicles of how and why you became an Asgardian, ideas on what Asgardia means for the future of humanity and anything else about Asgardia you feel would be interesting. Fiction Films can be of any genre - drama, comedy, melodrama, etc., and for example may be about life on the 27th century, or about the first Asgardian space travelers, or about anything else that triggers your creative thinking about Asgardia.
