The three significant ways it differs from my cunning plan is I think we can do it entirely off our own back, and plotted a slightly different route to get there - namely launching a seed factory and using (mostly) LEO debris to expand and clone it. From there throw the clone out to the Mars/Jupiter belt... Let the resources come to us. Whilst that's happening LEO cleanup efforts should of enabled facilities on the other side of the moon ready to start doing things with the incoming resources... preferably orbital farms - conventional and energy - to both support our population and for Earth, then with supply chains firmly established work on housing the population. The second is once infinite resources have been established, we should just give Earth everything it needs(as opposed to the selling we would of been doing to self-support) and thusly end world hunger and poverty. The distinction between personal opinion or allegiance, and raw dry facts should be clearly made, and every effort to put facts and data into context. Modern journalism seems to suffer from bad use of Venn diagrams, where if you are not in this circle, you must be in the other, because they forget that Venn diagrams are supposed to overlap. I get a lot of my tech news from watching/listening to Twit.tv as they have something no other TV channel dare do. The Twit chat-rooms are full of nerdy people ready and prepared to fact-check and argue with the current live topic. This leads to stories being corrected live as you watch. Their journalists often bow to the superior hive-mind busy at work in the background, and are thankful for being corrected. Between shows the cameras keep rolling, and the public get to see the presenters being real people. This adds a useful trust factor because you hear all the "off the record" comments and get to know how the presenter really feels about a topic. The Twit.tv model of transparency is perfect for the modern era of streaming media.

Having said that, yes, we should strive to report and journal to the best of our ability with the only "restriction" being that we freely and without hesitation publish corrections or retractions immediately. Maybe not need a title of Asgardia, but create some campaign with existing titles like: - Star Citizen - Mass Effect - Star Trek VR And if possible do this, i belive will be more rentable from a marketing point of view than create a game.. At least for a while..

Hello people, I am new here and this is my first post, but to come to topic, I am an out of practice game designer, 3D\2D games animator. My 2cents if anyone is interested, I find educational games very important in our day and age due to the amount of youngsters who already own top end mobile phones and tablets. I think and would strongly suggest to focus on designing and creating small educational games for Mobile and tablet, first of all to get us noticed by name, create a dedicated asgardian games studio of volunteers. These games would then highlight the main topics surrounding asgardia, example, protection of earth, tower defence etc, these games don't have to be huge, they don't have to be in production for years, turn out 2 or 3 in a short amount of time, when people have time of course, but I hope people know where I am going with this, importantly is to get us noticed and to educate youngsters and others through small enjoyable games the aspirations and goals of asgardia I hope this was understandable, currently at work and couldn't really spare time to double check what I wrote haha Looking forward to comments I will as well post some ideas thatbi have at a later date due to work at the moment if anyone is interested
