Sounds good. Well, internet should be a fundamental right (as communication is). I would love to see that governments start to make it possible to freely access internet everywhere (at home, in the cities, at work, elsewhere mobile). I know a lot of people who aren't able to effort ...

From my limited point of view, Africa have a giant growing potential about networking. About the environment, which is not helping in creating the ground network, it seems to me you should point to

Just out of curiosity, we would love to see how diverse our Asgardia is and let us know how you say 'Space' in your language. Please include the pronunciation in english letters if you can.

Pretty sure AIRC won't like to be bombed, as Libia have been when it was preparing the very first african communications' satellite to be sent into space. ;-)
(that, by the way, was one of the true reasons why Libia have been bombed and ...
Face it, space exploration and colonisation are rather distant activities. Asgardia is a great idea, but to say it's currently in the early stages is an understatement. If you're truly interested in this stuff, why not have your body cryonically preserved when you die? There's a decent chance science ...
It will happen, and a lot of progress has been made. First, cryopreservants used minimise the formation of crystals, as done the fast freezing.
Work is being done to use cryopreservation for organ donation. https://www.wired.com/2015/06/organ-banking-impossible-slightly-less-impossible/

@Skie,
You are referring to Faye Valentine and the my funny valentine session
@Rjz,
I rather doubt that science is anywhere near having that capability, the cryogenic process freezes the water in your body producing ice crystals that, damage your cells effectively killing ...
In a sci-fi anime show, Cowboy Bebop , one of the main characters gets cryogenically preserved and awakened fifty years later.

Found hydro-thermal vent clouds coming from Saturns moon. But not sure yet if that means a sign of life or not. https://room.eu.com/news/cassini-finds-evidence-for-hydrothermal-vent-activity-on-enceladus
[Mod Post] OMG! A celestial event is happening today! I can't believe I missed this bit of news. A comet and an asteroid will be passing close to earth today. It's been way too cloudy.
However, for those who are interested, Venus, Saturn and Jupiter are all three visible in the night sky. Look at your sky right before dawn to see all three. Venus will be in the east, Jupiter in the West, and Saturn in ...
I would love to see it, but my telescope is not the best. I can see the moon and such, but I can't really track stuff in the sky because my ability and skills are limited and the computer in the telescope at home doesn't work anymore so I ...

A bit of news! I participated in the 'Where's planet 9' project on the zooniverse website. This project is now closed but it seems that the volunteers who participated found 4 possible planets. Here is the story about it. http://www.space.com/36322-planet-nine-candidates-citizen-science.html
These are community volunteer projects to benefit space exploration or to benefit Earth - https://boinc.berkeley.edu/ , https://www.zooniverse.org/projects?status=live
very good projects to have at home or suggest in your childrens schools.
Beautiful image.
I'm pretty sure that Astrobiologists consider free oxygen in planetary atmospheres to be a strong indicator of life because it's very reactive, so would require a constant supply, like photosynthesis, to maintain it. The fact of oxygen in itself is not unusual?
This is so awesome to think. Something so small compared to our planet that's producing it's own oxygen. This show major promise of finding, and using different locations throughout the universe that we may be able to provide resources we could use.
