Mr. Ghazi Abu-Rumman joined King Abdullah II Design & Development Bureau (KADDB) in 2013 and currently serves as a project manager for several projects. Prior to this role, Mr. Abu-Rumman was an entrepreneur, by establishing National Natural Resources Co. Ltd (NNRC) due to his passion in utilizing the natural resources Jordan hold, this  included mining for Basalt, Celica Sand as well as Pure Lime Stone, the Company is still running and sells a fair share to the local market ( Cement Factories). Before and while building NNRC, Mr. Abu-Rumman held the position of Business Development Manager at the American Chamber of Commerce in Jordan and also still working as a Freelancer National Expert, Researcher and Trainer for the United Nations for Industrial Development (UNIDO), Mr. Abu-Rumman holds the first certificate in Jordan to train SME Managers to adopt the concept of SME Export Consortium – which he earned from the UN International Training Centre in Italy on June 2007. After completing his B.Sc. Degree, he joined Jordan Investment Board (JIB) and worked as an Investment Promotion Officer and he contributed to multiple SME’s that were established by foreign investors, including the development and implementation of country-specific marketing activities in those sectors in which they have a competitive advantages, developing business plans, sector promotion strategies, and marketing campaigns that aimed to increase FDI flows . Mr. Abu-Rumman also received a M.B.A. from the University of New York in 2004 and currently is finishing his Ph.D. in Management.

Being a diverse person I've experienced many of the hardships life has to offer. I've learnt from my mistakes and the mistakes of others. Despite my age I have lived more in a year than some have in 5. I believe that unity is the path to the future and we cannot have divides. If the world joined as one and pooled our resources we would be reaching for the stars. Unity now is more important than ever. We will need tactful and intelligent people in power to interact with the governments of the world. We need honest people with integrity as this is our first impression upon the world. We'll show them a government can be kind and transparent.

Asgardia's finances should be run with integrity, care, but also taking account of the progressive character of the Asgardia project.  We make our own luck, which means that while being careful and professional with the Asgardia budget, we need to make sure that Asgardia's finances do not stop Asgardia from taking advantage of opportunities.

I believe at Asgardia we are all building something bigger and greater than anyone could of ever imagined. With this new greatness comes greater responsibility. We need people we know and trust to lead us through what is to come. With my ever expanding knowledge in Psychology, Sociology and Philosophy  i believe i can use all i have learned to be one of the people you put your faith in to help lead Asgardia to new heights. In every modern day society we have set guidelines or laws if you wish to help us manage our day to day life's. These laws are very fundamental to moulding a desirable society to live in. Never will you hear me say we need laws to govern or dictate over the next Asgardian but we will have these laws to go exist in harmony.

By listening to what the people want we can all have our say on how we want our future to be.

As i am running for Minister of Justice and also Minister of Citizenship i want to hear from everyone. Justice is very important to helping a society function because in the perfect society we need basic guidelines for everyone. I once heard from a wise man "Morals are jurisdictional" So we need to establish a justice system that enforces are morals and laws so that people who commit offences will be dealt with equally and accordingly to the crime. Also on that basis whether or not Citizenship can remain active. We need to set out these guidelines and even create a test as such upon application of Citizenship so we can ask basic questions and have sociologist and even psychologists analyse them to make sure we are not exposing our people to harm. Vote for me and you will be heard. I see nothing other than equal humans all for the same cause.

HOW WILL EDUCATION BE PROVIDED TO THOSE WHO WOULD LIKE TO LEARN AND TAKE CLASSES. EDUCATION IS NEVER ENDING AND CLASSES SHOULD BE FREE TO ALL ASGARDIANS HOWEVER WE DO NOT SEE THIS PROCESS IS IN EFFECT. MAYBE IN THE FUTURE? WELL WHO WILL TEACH IT? WE NEED TO HAVE CERTIFIED TEACHERS INVOLVED IN MAKING THE CURRICULUM AND TESTING THE STUDENT'S AWARENESS. WE NEED TO HELP THE COMMUNITY LEARN AND GROW IN THE AREAS OF INTEREST TO BETTER OUR CHANCES OF BECOMING A BETTER NATION. SOME BACKGROUNDS HAVE LIMITED ACCESS BUT HUGE POTENTIAL. IT SHOULD BE MANDATORY THAT WE ALL CONTRIBUTE TO HELP EACH OTHER AND LEARN AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.

I AM HUGE IN PROVIDING FAITH. WE ARE ALL THAT CONFIDENT PERSON THAT HELPS OTHERS TO FOCUS BY ENCOURAGING GOOD HABITS AND PEEKING CONFIDENCE. WE SHOULD ALL ATTEMPT TO BE LIKEWISE AND MAKE IT A HABIT IF NOT ALREADY. Greetings Asgardians,

Science is the fundamental spark to discovery. It is the reason we, as Asgardians, decided to join forces to propel Asgardia to shine a light on our future. We decided to dream, inspire and imagine. To quote Albert Einstein, " Imagination is greater than knowledge ". With that in mind, what could the possible limit be to our society when we imagine?

The reason we strive to propel imagination is that its ability knows no bounds. This affected my personal influence in the science research field. I coordinated and led a team of six high school students, from Platteville High School, to create a camera stabilizer. This project was selected to be tested by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) to assist astronauts. We developed, designed, fabricated and tested our project to be able to help astronauts outreach safely and securely while in space. Our project received high marks for being a first-year project and for being the most revolutionary idea to go through their outreach program. With news coverage here , ( goo.gl/6WgLDV ) we were able to use imagination and make a direct difference in the scientific community.

As I strive to imagine the future, I decided to have a direct influence by studying Science Education at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee to become a science teacher. This way, I can help to inspire others to reach farther and use the light of science to help humanity. As it is an educator's duty to challenge and inspire others.

At the end of the day, however, that is why we are all here. We all have unique abilities and are striving to make this world a better place. I encourage everyone to strive to make Asgardia the light in the sky that inspires humanity to reach for the stars.

As Les Brown states, we should " Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars ". I hope to shoot for the moon with you and let's have imagination be our guide!

Corruption, this is the most biased especially in government, many things are unwittingly actions that indicate corruption, but has become a culture both in society and in government. In this regard, I see the need for a deeper understanding for all societies including those in government about what are the indications of corruption and how to avoid these indications becoming widespread in society. In addition to routine socialization with anti-corruption activists, discussion forums can be held that are packed with interesting interest and interest community formed to find and anticipate the growing corruption.

Government stakeholders in the government, either come down to the community to learn together about it, and also a direct example to the community how to avoid corruption with the performance and systems that avoid the indication of corruption itself. If society and government can agree and cooperate well, corruption will be avoided and the growth of people's welfare is a common goal as an attempt to dispose of the culture of corruption.

If talking about intolerance, it is almost similar to corruption. In the case of combating intolerance, communities and government stakeholders must join hands to maintain a conducive tolerance. Open dialogues with careful and interesting packaging should be held frequently so that the understanding of every element of society is open.

Upon browsing through the various platforms of Parliament and Government hopefuls, two parts of a Nation were not mentioned as often as they should be: Security and Protection.

Many of the ideas espoused by those running for positions included fairness, equality, education, dreams, leadership, excellence, technology, science and creation of the new. I believe in all of these, as I am sure all Citizens of Asgardia do.

However, all great nations began small, but learned very quickly that part of their foundation MUST be built on strength, not only of ideas mentioned above, but of the means to protect those ideas from influences that would seek to destroy them.

In the Nation of Asgardia, these protections should come from two groups – local policing forces and external protection forces. These would be different from those in terrestrial nations through education and clearly defined roles of police and military defenses.

Protection of the Nation must happen through strength, technology, inclusion, and education, NOT by illegal subjugation and intimidation.

As a very brief outline of my platform:

1. Armed forces would be solely for the protection of Asgardia and its’ interests.
2. Forces comprised of a local policing force, National military defense force, and a cyber-defense force comprised of both policing and military members.
3. Roles of each shall be defined from the beginning of the forces history to protect the citizens of Asgardia from illegal use and corruption.
4. Warring for conquest will be illegal under the Constitution, be it financial, territorial, or otherwise.
5. War for any other purpose other than conquest which is legal, such as protection of Asgardia or its’ interests, shall be a voted action by Parliamentary percentage as shall be written into the Constitution, to be determined by Parliament.
6. Police and military budgets shall be given by Parliamentary vote with consideration of recommendations of the police and military, without decreasing the security or well-being of the Nation of Asgardia.
7. A state of War shall not be legal to be determined by the Head of Nation, but only by Parliamentary decree.
8. Martial law, should it ever be needed, will only be invoked during times of extreme need, being inability of the police forces to maintain order and safety, and only to ensure safety and well-being of the citizens of Asgardia. Once order and safety is restored, control shall be returned to local police forces.

As a father of four children, safety and well-being of our citizens is first and for-most on my list of duties to Asgardia. There are times when our safety will be at a necessary risk, such as in exploration (which I am completely for and am a strong advocate of), but we must be able to protect ourselves from those external and internal forces that may harm our venture into the Universe.

The world's governments are failing, failing their citizens and failing the citizens of the world. But why? The answer is complex, but when money and lobby groups begin to hold power over those who make decisions, it stops being about what is right and becomes about what is profitable for persons or corporations. In addition, due to having an unfathomable amount of information at our finger tips, the internet has become awash with 'fake facts' and all manner of baseless nonsense which has given ammunition to those with less than honest agendas to push just about any policy they wish through government systems. Imagine a world where money couldn't buy leaders or political representatives. Where only the facts are considered and policies worked out by considering both facts and people. And of course, not just people, we have to consider and we must value the intrinsic wealth that the Earth has, which support us all. This 'wealth' is greater than the sum of its parts. I advocate and would see that all ideas are weighed against the science and, where such science may not already exist, would insist the science is first known before formulating solutions to all problems, new and old.
My past circumstance and lack of family wealth prevented me from seeking the education that my mind was capable of. Since my mid-teen years, I have sort to expand my knowledge in all things, ranging from engineering, biology, genetics, fundamental physics, quantum theory, cosmology and so on. A passion in this subject has seen me absorb three decades of scientific discovery and research, all of which has been peer reviewed and lending itself to creating an intuitive knowledge and structured, scientific thinking, which I believe could be invaluable to a new Asgardian future. Should we reject candidates simply because they lack formal certifications in academia? Some of the greatest minds in human history were nor formally educated and/or indoctrinated and therefore, logically, surely the value is not in the system you've been processed through, but in the intellect that is innate to persons.
It would be my wish to help ensure that the facts remain the facts; apples will always fall due to gravity and light will always be carried by the timeless, humble photon. We should never allow politics to fool us that opinion is more valuable than immutable truth. I will see that this is a cherished and upheld fact of nature, and commit to enshrining it in the very constitution itself.

Chemistry, Physic, Math. These are the basics for a prosperous future. Investment in fundamental research do not give economical advantages straight away, but they make the foundation for future inventions. A government must invest in this type of research, and as Minister, if elected, I will fight to  ensure that adeguate founding will be given to research!

With Asgardia, the true beauty is in the ability to restart society with everything we have learned up to this point. It is an incredible thing to have socially conscious individuals from across the world come together and take a step towards creating something great. I personally would like to help solve the difficulties posited by modern criminal justice systems, especially through lenses of fairness and morality for all people. As an attorney and former police officer, I have seen a system that is not equal for all people, especially the poor. My goal is to guide Asgardians into a system that emphasizes security through social vigilance and training, while maintaining ethical and moral standards are the same for all people throughout. Along with heightened training, by maintaining an open and honest relationship with citizens, I feel Asgardia's peacekeepers will become the standard the rest of the world can draw from.

KENNEDY’S STATEMENT OF “ASK NOT WHAT YOUR COUNTRY CAN DO FOR YOU BUT WHAT YOU CAN DO FOR YOUR COUNTRY.”EACH CITIZEN OF ASGARDIA IS EXPECTED TO BE A CONTRIBUTING MEMBER OF SOCIETY.  WE ALL COME TO ASGARDIA WITH DIFFERENT ABILITIES AND ASGARDIA WILL PROSPER AS EACH CITIZEN EXERCISES HIS OR HER UNIQUE ABILITIES TO THEIR FULLEST EXTENT.  ANY ABLE BODIED CITIZEN UNWILLING TO CONTRIBUTE SHOULD BE RETURNED TO THEIR EARTH COUNTRY OF ORIGIN AND STRIPPED OF THEIR ASGARDIAN CITIZENSHIP.

I AM NOT AN ECONOMIST BUT ONE OF THE FIRST ISSUES THAT MUST BE TAKEN UP IS HOW THE SPACE NATION IS GOING TO GENERATE A SELF-SUSTAINING ECONOMIC ENGINE TO ACHIEVE OUR VISION AS ARTICULATED BY OUR FOUNDER, MR. IGOR ASHURBEYLI:

ASGARDIA, “– A GLOBAL, UNIFYING AND HUMANITARIAN PROJECT. THE PROJECT'S CONCEPT COMPRISES THREE PARTS – PHILOSOPHICAL, LEGAL AND SCIENTIFIC/TECHNOLOGICAL.”

WE ARE CURRENTLY FUNDED BY THE PERSONAL FUNDS OF MR. HEALTH & EDUCATION:

I BELIEVE IN, AND SUPPORT, UNIVERSAL EDUCATION.ADDITIONALLY, I SUPPORT UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE PROVIDED QUALITY CARE WITH TIMELY AVAILABILITY FOR ACCESS IS PRESENT FOR ALL ASGARDIANS AT AN AFFORDABLE COST TO ASGARDIAN SPACE NATION.  THERE SHOULD BE ONLY ONE STANDARD OF CARE FOR HEALTH AND EDUCATION.  THOSE FROM ASGARDIAN GOVERNMENT AND FROM THE TOP TO THE BOTTOM OF ASGARDIAN SOCIETY RECEIVE THE SAME EDUCATION AND STANDARD CARE.

L WILL BRING TO THE INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATIONS COMMITTEE MY RECOGNIZED PERSUASIVE WRITING ABILITY.  I AM NOTED FOR MY ABILITY TO MAKE CLEAR AND PRECISE ARGUMENTS AND AN ABILITY TO CUT THROUGH THE FLUFF AND PULL OUT THE PERTINENT INFORMATION.

FOR THE FOREIGN AFFAIRS COMMITTEE I WILL BUILD UPON THE ABOVE PERSUASIVE WRITING ABILITIES AND LEVERAGE MY EXPOSURE TO MANY CULTURES DURING MY YEARS IN THE MILITARY, MY FORMER CAREER IN NURSING AND LIVING IN THE MULTI-ETHNIC SOCIETY OF CALIFORNIA, USA.  I HAVE A LIFE LONG INTEREST IN POLITICS AND I AM FAIRLY WELL VERSED ON THE MAJOR ISSUES AROUND THE GLOBE CURRENTLY.  I WILL MOST CERTAINLY HAVE AN OPEN EAR TO THOSE WHO ARE ACTUALLY LIVING IN OR ARE MUCH CLOSER TO THE ISSUE THAN WHAT I HAVE LEARN THROUGH THE FILTER OF THE AMERICAN MEDIA.

FOR THE ABOVE COMMITTEES THE FOUNDATION OF MY APPROACH IS MY LEVEL HEADED AND CALM DEMEANOR.  I HAVE FACED MUCH ADVERSITY IN MY LIFE AND AS SUCH I HAVE A REAL DESIRE FOR JUSTICE AND FAIRNESS FOR ALL AND IN PARTICULAR THOSE WHO DO NOT HAVE A VOICE OR A MEANS TO COMPETENTLY ACCESS THE JUDICIAL SYSTEM.

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

SHOULD I BE GRANTED THE PRIVILEGE OF SERVING IN PARLIAMENT, I WILL SOLEMNLY EXECUTE THE ABOVE PHILOSOPHY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE ASGARDIAN CONSTITUTION.  I WILL LISTEN TO YOUR FEEDBACK BEFORE CASTING ANY VOTE OR PUTTING FORTH ANY FINAL VERSIONS OF LEGISLATION.

I FEEL I AM UNIQUELY QUALIFIED BASED ON MY HALF-CENTURY OF LIFE EXPERIENCES.  DURING MY EARLIEST YEARS I GREW UP POOR IN A SMALL TOWN IN NORTH CAROLINA, UNITED STATES.  I FACED INDIVIDUAL AND SOCIETAL RACIAL PERSECUTION.  IN MY MID/LATE CHILDHOOD MY PARENTS PLACED A HIGH VALUE ON EDUCATION AS A MEANS FOR RISING OUT OF POVERTY AND A BETTER LIFE.  THIS COUPLED WITH BAND IN HIGH SCHOOL AND EXPOSURE TO OTHERS OUTSIDE MY NEIGHBORHOOD GAVE ME A PATHWAY OUT OF POVERTY.  UPON GRADUATION I JOINED THE US MARINES AND EXTENDED MY MUSIC CAREER ANOTHER FOUR YEARS.  THIS WAS MY FIRST EXPOSURE TO OTHER PEOPLE AND CULTURES OUTSIDE OF MY SMALL TOWN.  LIFELONG FRIENDSHIPS WERE FORGED AND CHERISHED TO THIS DAY. AFTER THE MARINES, I JOINED THE AIR FORCE RESERVES AS A MEDICAL TECHNICIAN AND SERVED THE NEXT 16 YEARS RISING FROM A BASIC MEDICAL TECHNICIAN TO ENLISTED LEADER.  DURING THIS TIME I OBTAINED MY LICENSE VOCATION NURSE LICENSE AND WORKED IN ACUTE CARE, URGENT CARE, HOME HEALTH AND AS A JAIL NURSE.  AT MY HEART I AM A TECHNOLOGY PERSON WORKING THE LAST 17 YEARS IN THE COMPUTER FIELD FIRST AS AN INFORMATION SYSTEM TECHNICIAN TRAINEE AND WORKING MY WAY UP TO MY CURRENT POSITION AS AN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIST II.

EDUCATION:  I HOLD ASSOCIATES DEGREES IN MICROCOMPUTER PROGRAMMING, VOCATIONAL NURSING AND LIBERAL ARTS.

MY CIVIC CONTRIBUTION OVER THE YEARS INCLUDE SERVING AS AN ELDER, BOARD MEMBER, POWERPOINT AND PRAISE TEAM MEMBER AT  MY LOCAL CHURCH.  I CURRENTLY SERVE ON THE BOARD AND ARCHITECTURAL COMMITTEE OF OUR HOME OWNERS’ ASSOCIATION.  I SERVE ON THE BOARD AND PARTICIPATE IN THE LOCAL NON-PROFIT COMMUNITY CHOIR.  IN PARTNERSHIP, I CREATED A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT HANDLES THE FINANCES OF INDIVIDUALS RECEIVING SOCIAL BENEFITS THAT ARE UNABLE TO MANAGE THEIR BENEFITS.  I SERVE ON ITS BOARD AND AS VICE-PRESIDENT.  I AM RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ORGANIZATION’S GOVERNMENTAL COMPLIANCE AND TAXES.  IN ADDITION, I OWN AND OPERATE A FOR-PROFIT BUSINESS SERVING THE DEVELOPMENTALLY DISABLED.

We have lived on Earth for nearly 5000 years. Today what we see is humanity's best.  Earth is a pluralistic society so will any other planets be. Philosophy might change that, probably even our genetics could challenge it. Will Asgardians make another 5000 years of 'Asgardian History' more better that what Earth has seen itself? Hierarchy, Relationships, Finances, Food, Machines, Exploration and Habitations needs new solutions and understanding. Asgardians can have full assurance that 'fraternity and democracy' is the core of Asgardia. With 'Love, Peace and Everlasting' friendship I count on your vote.

As pioneers of the final frontier a great responsibility lies upon our shoulders.  We must be vigilant in the formation of our new society in order to avoid the pitfalls and roadblocks that have traditionally stood in the path of earthbound civilizations.  Our communications philosophy must focus on efficiency, fairness and balance.  Our society will serve as a torch-bearer, leading the divided, fearful, earthbound masses to a new age of enlightenment, unity and prosperity for all humankind.  As your Minister of Information and Communication, in cooperation with the people of Asgardia,  I will develop and implement the strategies and guidelines that our government will use to make this vision a reality.   Onward and upward Asgardians!
