Greetings Fellow Asgardians!

The moderation team has seen many conversations regarding Asgardia, languages and what should be the official language.

This has raised an idea within the Moderation Team. We could arrange to have a new section in forum specifically for Asgardians who either would like to learn a new language, or would like to assist in teaching someone another language.

The purpose of this topic is to gauge, if any, the level of interest using the Asgardia Forum to start learning another language. If there is enough interest we will submit a proposal to Asgardia "Official" to have a new forum thread created for this. At this stage nothing has been officially agreed to or approved. It is purely an exercise to see if there is enough interest. We will then need to develop a plan on how it may be able to work using the forums.

Please use the poll above to assist in measuring the interest.

You need to select 2 options. 1 if you would or would not want to learn a new language and 1 of you are willing / not willing to help teach a language.

We are also open to hearing your ideas. So please post them below.

Frist,I feel very strange not to use chinese. In addition to the options I have chosen: English and french. I believe that the official language should be concerned about more regional distribution than the use of the population, or will lead to civil division

I would like to learn Russian and teach English. However I don't have much experience teaching a language.

I would love to learn a few new languages. i would like to learn German, Russian,Japanese,and Chinese just to start. i know there are many different dialects of these languages but i am very much interested in learning them.

i know a forum is kind of a bad idea to try to teach a language so while i was watching an interview on youtube with a guy that was talking about different dialects of the US i had an idea pop up that the people willing to teach another language might have more success by making a video and putting it on youtube that way people can hear the pronunciation of the words and can see what the word is translated in their own language so that they gain association with the words meaning the same thing just a different way of saying it. im not a teacher i dont know if it would work but it might be worth a shot
