I was browsing this forum and haven't come across anything about space debris. We all know there is a lot of debris in space. This will be a main issue for the space nation. So we need to find a solution to this issue. I have been thinking of the Deflector shield (yes from star trek/star wars). It would do the trick to protect the space nation. But I think the power consumption would be really high due to how big the nation would be. Any other idea's/solutions?

Why not use a gravity tractor which would protect both the nation and the earth
