It is stated in a number of articles and the concept of Asgardia that it advocates for the creation of a new legal platform in relation to space. While you correctly stated that currently space law is adhered to in the form of the Outer Space Treaty perhaps there are new issues created by private industry, technological advancements and human expansion into space that should be addressed as they were simply not possible to conceive of in 1967 when the Treaty was entered into force.

From the Concept of Asgardia

Asgardia's legal aspects.

Today, many of the problems relating to space law are unresolved and may never be solved in the complex and contradictory dark woods of modern international law. Geopolitical squabbles have a great influence, and are often rooted in the old military history and unresolvable conflicts of countries on Earth. It is time to create a new judicial reality in space.

What? That's like saying the oceans need new laws after launching your submarine.

You're not legit just because you have a webpage, a wiki, and a facebook.

This is nothing more than a social network based on a lie that Treaties need to change. They don't. They especially don't need to change to accommodate you. Nobody cares about you in the context of Nations, and they never will.

Additionally, but certainly not least importantly, the idea that a Space Nation can exist is a fraud under international law.

Holy crap what on Earth are you people thinking???
