I was looking through some of the stats for Asgardia and found two very interesting things (if you believe all the signup details are accurate):

• Nearly 3% of the population of the Holy See has signed up to be Asgardian. The majority of the population of the Holy See consists of clergy of the Roman Catholic Church. Is it possible that Pope Frank wants to be Asgardian???

• 485 North Koreans have signed up to be Asgardian. Not totally surprising given the state of the country, but impressive considering the level of control of the internet there. I hope those people used a VPN when signing up - the DPRK don't take too kindly to defectors!
