At some point Asgardia will need to have it's own laws..this reference may help when that time comes

I think this is a really important question to address, but unfortunately I don't have nearly enough technical background to suggest an answer ;) My initial thought is twofold... 

1. I'm horribly afraid of what we'll call for shorthand a "Terminator" scenario, with AI deciding it can do better without us. I think if this is something Elon Musk is concerned about then it's worth some serious thought. Just the other day he got in a cute little Twitter fight with the Facebook guy about it, which is funny in and of itself.

2. Assuming AI doesn't result in a "Terminator" scenario and everything is peaceful, we absolutely have to legislate AI civil rights. If they are sentient, they deserve the right of self-determination and must be protected like any other citizen.
