As well as a more general roadmap, individual initatives would be good to deploy similar indicaiton of intent.

To take for example the defined goal of putting a satellite into orbit - a roadmap of how that's supposed to happen.

Totally agree. It's hard to tell what's going on right now.

For instance, the "Changes in the Pipeline" thread lists a few things that are in the roadmap. But we have no idea what's the delivery delay, or the priority of each item. Also, the post is edited but there aren't changelog so we don't really know what has been done since the last edit.

As there's nothing on that list which should really take more than an hour to complete, and it's been there for over a month, assume it also details the progress.

The (big) difference, as far as I can see, from my request as detailed in the linked post, and the "roadmap" linked by @Vadorequest is that the latter seems related to the forum's functions or nearly: my list was more related to the "big picture", the government, Asgardia.
I think I'm not the only one asking to myself "how are things going?", "what's going on?", "which projects are being developed?", "how the actual government is going to elections?", "what will be asked us to vote, and on which bases?".

I'm not saying that forum's features are without a value but, in my humble opinion, our government and the whole thing should come first.
Being clear on that will prevent the giant diaspora right after the first time "they" will ask us money.

And more: at the moment, being so far from the ongoing things, I feel there is a "us", kind of spectators, and "them", the ones who are doing things: I'm not saying we can't move from "spectators" to "makers" but, as we can't be all makers (and we can't be (fake) makers just to know what's going on), we-the-spectators should at least be able to read what's going on, summaryzed, without having to carve the facts from the thousand forum's posts and/or googling them: if we have to become supporters at least we should know what we're supporting.

There are no secrets here. There is a lot we don't know, agreed, but not because they are secret. It is far more likely that they simply haven't been discussed yet with the myriad of things that MUST be discussed.

I've to say we're sharing the same feelings about things are going on.

Let me do some clarifications anyway:

1. as far as I can read, you gave links to many of the things are going on... but we're still lacking a "summary (web) page" where to read something like:
   a. Contests: overall 90% done (100% proposal gathering, redline for voting will close 15 march 2017 12:00Z (GMT))
   b. Government: overall 40% done (30% Ministries candidates gathering, 10% online vote developed, 10% Ministries' programs acquired)
   c. United Nations: overall 50% done (100% target people gathering, 10% Constitution made, 40% Government made, 0% proposal request sent)
   d. etc. etc.
   and/or things like a GANTT (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gantt_chart)

2. all that souldn't stay into this forum: some Official should take your thread, make a web-page and place it as a section into asgardia.space's website, the same way there is a Government section, a Citizenship one, etc.

3. if we need to keep some projects "private" (AKA "visible by registered members only"), the web-page should not list it unless you register (actual CMS can do that).

4. I didn't write in any of my posts that there is something secret: what I wrote is the existing informations can be gathered with GREAT difficult: that's makes a (wrong) sense of "there's nothing going on", or "so much WORDS but where are the FACTS?" and, I'm sure, "I can see so much blablabla but what I can't see are the projects: are they secret?" (e.g. https://asgardia.space/en/forum/forum/general-discussion-14/topic/is-asgardia-a-fraud-2306/)

5. something I'm sure I'm not the only one asking to myself is "WHO is doing what?": there should be a (public or private) web-page which lists the names/nicks of people which is contributing with facts: I mean Mods, IT Team, lawyers, etc. etc. I wrote "a web page" as, having all these informations scattered into the whole forum AND FaceBook (where I've no access at all) leads to the questions of point 4, as you may figure.

6. the lack of a Search function, in the forum, makes all searches a pain (and NO, I don't think we should make our forum indexed by Google).

So, I thank you very much for your post, and even more for your trial to create something useful as a "forum's roadmap", but that's not what I asked for (to the "officials"). Nonetheless I believe your is a great work and the only "roadmap" we'll have for a while, so thank you again. ;-)

I changed my nickname to reflect my online presence. I was originally called Fixer on here (which I am generally called IRL because I make things work), now I am asking to be called Phicksur (same phoenetics), which is more my online tag, which can even be googled. Googling Fixer comes up with a whole host of nonsense, but there is only one Phicksur I am aware of.

Apparently someone deleted my post, dammit! WTF? I wanted more input from everyone. WTF are they doing now?

There's already "CMS" in use. Although I agree there should be lesser public "Asgardian access only" areas ultimately maintainence of such is difficult as "anyone" can sign up and thusly gain access.
