Hey, there! :) I'm glad to participate in this protect, and I also want begin a post about using fiction—especially in movies, series, etc.—to show a new perspective of things in the world. I mean... I'm studying Communication and Audiovisual Arts, and I'm specialising using fantasy and fiction with kids and young people, especially. Teaching values as respect, honesty... also environmental care and empathy. I also write: I'm about to publish my first book, so ¿what do you think about this topic?

I am of the general opinion that the pen is mightier than the sword.

I believe that what human beings are capable of creating and imagining in their minds is worthy of sharing with everyone else. We cannot create (with our thoughts and mind's eye) something that has not existed or will exist at some point in time in the universe. Therefore, in my honest opinion, fiction and everything else that is categorized under this term is nothing but a piece of existence seen through a focal point in the universe.

Also, people are afraid of hearing and seeing the truth. Thus, the best way of showing people the truth is through books, movies etc. as fiction.

Asgardia is new!

dont have culture, arts, ethnical, language, etc.. But, if we (Asgardian) build it with writing, it's gonna be awesome world...

We can give an idea or new perpective to amazing life...

Fiction have been in the core of many ''discoveries'' made by the human species. In many ways, we had a vast prsence of those novelists who thought of different avenues.

Let's take Jules Vernes for exemple. Submarines and rockets. Now, we do have those type of transportation, since, in the time he wrote down those, was said to be a dreamer, fantasist. Today, we see him to be in advance in his time ... he brang the future to us. And there is many more like that.

Today, we got game designers that create topics we wander in. May I say Mass Effect to be one of the most representative of space transportation. Showing today that there is actual ressearchs made in regard of these kind of transportation, exoskeletons, energy, comm devices, etc. We also got Space engineers, or even Star citizens. There is many more, and ressearchs are made in what it is actual possible in these games.

Fiction, in my view, is also what result of our thoughts, our dreams. What we see for the future

I do think this is a grat idea, I mean this way we can teach a role generation of asgardians about values in a fun and interrest way. This idea can improve learning because childrens are going to be able to watch their favorites carachters learning all this values and by that learn them to.
