While I place great value on crowd-sourcing information, in terms of photo quality it would be a good idea to have an official photographer present at events and ceremonies to make sure we properly document everything. Future generations deserve beautiful photos to use in all of the documentaries they'll make about this. 

That being said, I want to make it clear that I'm not supporting the idea that ONLY the state photographer be allowed to photograph at events. I value citizen journalism quite highly.
