We have just posted Decree #3 by Head of State Dr. Ashurbeyli outlining Unity Day on 1 Asgard, year 1 (or 18 June 2017).

An important day where Asgardians will cast their votes on the Declaration of Unity, the Constitution (created from community suggestions) and many of the open contests to decide the final winners.

well could Staff explain what is the third phase of certification, what will be a ID Card?

The third level of certification is the last step before becoming a full citizen of Asgardia. As any new citizen must agree to the principles of the nation that they are joining, community members must agree to the constitution and declaration before becoming a full citizen. Once they do, they will receive an ID Card. More details on it will be released closer to Unity Day.

If anything previous is to go by, the ID card will be water soluable polymer and be produced by a third party company permently storing the citizen details it processes.

The voting regulations are discriminatory and autocratic. Those who read and have not any sense of rights and politics will vote yes, regardless of the contents, otherwise they won't reach level 3 of the certification of the citizenship. This is an exclusion of citizens, who disagree on an actual form of an initial constitution and stands regrettably against the norms and values of the united nations.

At the other side, I will not vote on anything in an lax secured environment that does not guarantee the identity of the voter by technology mechanisms away from logins (this website).

Yet again, half-baked. Just to show progress. When was the professionalism gone?

With regards to the "agree to my rules or don't play" attitude presented - unfortunately this is not a rare behaviour to be exhibited, almost everything runs on such a premise. Including the UN.

Much work is going on behind the scenes to ensure the safety of all community members information. A new update to the website backend is being prepared for to increase security before Unity Day.

As I replied earlier, all citizens new to any nation must agree to the principles of the nation that they are joining. This is standard in any country. If community member chooses not to move onto the third certification, that is their choice and will not be excluded from any future activities. However, they will not be issued a citizens ID Card as they haven't agreed to the constitution.

Also, both the constitution and declaration of unity will be posted beforehand for community review and feedback. It will be updated as needed to ensure that all feedback is taken into consideration.

The UN provides no citizenships. Nations at our point of progress should not jail people in its citizenship progress because of a disagree to an initial constitution. The constitution is not created by many people with knowledge, it's built by few people and validated logically by others. At the other side, the vote will be held at the website's infrastructure who is vulnerable to fraud, because of the nature of the current asgardia accounts and it's orbiting meta information about the identity. The vote would be representative, but not regulated by laws that will not (dramatically) change after the vote and may supersede or invalidate the decision.

It's good to note something is being done somewhere about the lax security policies. Finally. I cannot seem to shake the feeling that what will result shall be less secure than if there had been no effort however.

I stongly advise you to seek someone that can exhibit some competency for this, as everyone currently involved has proven themselves incapable.

The UN doesn't provide citizenships - but to join their little exclusive club, you have to agree to their rules. It's a pretty common affair with a similar procedure involved for almost anything - the legalese definition of "register" being applicably important.

Another thing is the usage of the proposed calendar system. It's not decided to use it, nor accepted (it is actually heavily criticised), but just engaged on a official decree.

It feels more and more like watching the single-player of the nation building game.

Is there any special reason for the decree to say

"The vote of each Asgardian has the same weight coeffcient that equals one."

instead of something like

"The vote of every Asgardian is counted equally."?

That's because of how Dr. Ashurbeyli put it in Russian and then translated over to English.

You're exactly right on what it means but I think it adds a little extra uniqueness that will be smiled at in the future.

This Decree is a bad idea.

1) It's a "take it or leave it" constitution. 2) It declares we will have literal second class citizens, which will completely bar us from UN membership indefinitely. 3) It may cause many, perhaps most, Asgardians to abandon the project, depending very heavily on what exactly the propsed constitution is. 4) There is a procedural error. N2 declared the Asgardian Calendar was to be approved by the Asgardian Parliament, a body that does not yet exist.

Everybody should chill down. Dr. Igor Ashurbeyli didn't said that we have to verificate Decree of Unity and Constitution made by him, or his colleagues. It was clearly stated that they will present us the texts very early, and everybody will have opportunity to tell ones opinion, etc.

Yes, the tendency to failure is on the horizon.
