NASA have long since been advocates of open source - but not anywhere near enough for my liking.

They release masses of data - but not all. They release lots of useful software - but not all.

Certianly they are a good, and likely much used resource - but I'd not imagine they'll be letting loose their really shiny toys.

Nice, this is pretty cool. I knew about their open source projects on GitHub but I wasn't aware they offered software access like that.

Its a fantastic tool for knowledge!
