Repeat not the mistakes of your predecessors. ¶
I understand what this is attempting, and it is noble in and of itself. But do not forget that this is being received voluntarily (that is, on the basis of the individual), like so many others have. What is it I mean? There need be no monopoly of authority, but a private establishment to compete with. Respect the rights of the individual to be his own person and his own property, that no man has a right to but himself. Because at the end of the day, each human is an individual first and foremost - not a collective.
After all, as stated by Robert Heinlein: "I will accept the rules that you feel necessary to your freedom. I am free, no matter what rules surround me. If I find them tolerable, I tolerate them; if I find them too obnoxious, I break them. I am free because I know that I alone am morally responsible for everything I do."
