To my dear supporters,
“Asgardia is a nation of dreamers” – so our new promotional video says, and since I joined Asgardia I have seen the dream slowly start to turn into a reality and it is upon that ...
Hello my fellow Asgardians,
So the minimum age polls are now closed and in the short space of time that they were open, they generated 1,488 responses which is hundreds more than any petition managed to get ...
I'm 44 years old, I have only 5 votes and while that may be enough to get me into Parliament, due to our lack of numbers since we don't have enough people to fill out the entire English district, I severely insist the age be lowered. I can see ...

Indeed people want this change many of us from the beginning (18th of June) have been active in defending and promoting. An unfair treatment segregating amongst Asgardians not according to their enthusiasm or their capacity, not even their merit or their dedication but just based on their age.
...
Hello there my fellow Asgardian Citizens,
The opinion poll that Civic Asgardia is running on the subject of the age-limit is running out time. It's due to expire on December 04, 2017. If you haven't yet voted, please do so. With enough voices all talking together as ...

The ongoing debate about “Minimum age.” Has raised some interesting points from the community and I would like to address some of them in this post.
18 Vs 40. ...
I'm not really sure how to articulate what I'm thinking, so bear with me. Perhaps this might be where the arguments are originating from in reality? Due process implying a legal system (legislature, judges, etc) when all we have is a constitution that knew it was going to run ...
The due process is to use the provisions built into the constitution in article 44, 45 and 46. This would be going directly by the constitution. Why would you champion going by the age in the constitution but not changing the age by following the constitution?
At this time, I would ask all my supporters to visit the following poll
http://community.asgardia.com/polls/
And select the following option: Extend and continue the elections as they are with everyone over 18 able to run and Head of Nation calls ...
I voted Ross, we are putting all our trust in Asgardia and many changes have been made that we have accepted and continue to work on. I think this age problem must be a priority. I believe that the decision must be made not only because of age. Work ...
Hello, my Fellow Asgardians and especially my supporters,
I wanted to let you know that I am getting your messages and I am not ignoring you. However, due to the volume of messages and the nature of the subject-matter, I thought that ...
Let's hope you won't have to resort to that!
[Nov. 23, 0001 / Nov. 27, 2017]
I will ask my voters to vote for you Dirk and Ivan if we cannot be MPs because we are thinking similar in several questions and you are active.
Dear Dirk, unfortunately, there is also a minimum age set by the Constitution to be nominated and appointed as a Minister which Ross wouldn't meet either...
As you know, since June, my candidate platform has always been to give a voice to the voiceless, the citizens under 40 ...

Hello my fellow Asgardians,
As a Parliamentary Candidate, it’s important to me that people know what I have been working on in the realm of Asgardia and, so I am ...
It may be my simple brain, but I for the life of me can't find where to vote for Parliamentary Candidates. Any chance you could point me in the right direction?
Thank you for taking the time out to comment, Valentine. I'll definitely be looking to share details once we're a little bit more underway. A lot of things hinge on the formation of Parliament and the development of rules and budgets and those sorts of things -- But one ...
Thank you for your hard work, Ross! I love the platform idea. I have a bit of a background in software development so I look forward to hearing more about it once you're able to get a draft out. If it's not too over my head, I'd be interested ...

Today, there have been a lot news posts and articles regarding a ‘Doomsday’ warning that was signed by 15,000 scientists. In their letter, they highlight several factors ...
I definitely don't disagree with you there, Chris. It would make a lot of sense to start forming orbital cities and things like that, and to rely on "off world" resources.
The point I am making is that space represents a long term solution. It's not us ...
The only thing I disagree with is that a teraforming mission on current technology would bleed the planet dry - I do agree, it is a future solution, but for now I think we need to specialize in floating cities with geodomes, mining asteroids and/or basses on the ...
To my fellow Citizens of Asgardia,
With the successful launch of Asgardia-1, today is a truly historic moment for our nation. Today is the day that we will raise the standard of Asgardia high into the air and say to the world ...
Historic times we live in Ross, this is one event of many that will progress us towards making our space nation a reality. Thank you for your continued dedication and contributions to Asgardia, we have a long year ahead of us but we are diligent innovators, united as one ...
In Asgardia, we are part of a democracy; This means that the power is in the hands of the people through their right to vote.
Citizens vote for a representative that will hear their views and champion their cause. These representatives ...
Very well thought out, Ross! Be of luck in you campaign!
We clearly have matters that we disagree on, Ivan. I think that this comes down to the ambiguity and individual interpretation of the constitution and the systems that asgardia will use.
That said, you make a lot of good points. I will edit the post to further ...
Thank you for your reply, Ross. I think I was misquoted or that my saying was taken out of context. You list in your article a series of points
- A Debating Issues
-
B Making Laws
- Scrutinise proposed bills
- Request research. ...
I have had another great question, this time from Asgardian Tierial and it addresses some great points about the future of Citizens in Asgardia.
The question:
“Good evening I have a few questions for you Ross please forgive ...
Thank you for your kind words, Gentlemen. Rest assured that the work you all do for Asgardia has not gone unnoticed to me. I look forward to working with you all in some capacity to make this project a success.
Well said Ross, and I couldn't agree more - I am eager to see who else will join the race and what ideas they have to contribute, I would be disappointed if it remains only us 6 in district 1 to fill the 70+ seats. Skills can be taught ...
Yes, you are number one and superstar now. You have alluded all my concern. Seemingly ATSN has no perception on Macro Economic ,in particular Asgardian People's economy. I can't wait to see the 12 Ministers and grasp their concept , plans and policies. I don't know which minister to ...
Earlier, Asgardian “The Fabulous Pineapple” asked a great question regarding my push for Virtual Reality. One of the things that I like most about Asgardia is that we have people that are willing to question things and to think logically and to look to the future of ...
A worthy suggestion, Meloxyde. Nothing is off the table at this point! We'll let the will of the people guide us if we get enough support for VR.
Great idea!
Pearhaps a Asgarian Town on Sansar (the new Second Life and vr oriented) could be a good start ?

I'm glad to see someone who is willing to give most their time on this project and contribute so much. I had a question about communication on social media. Do you have a Facebook page or twitter profile for us to listen to your ideas ...
